Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity

Practical help and support groups

Our Support Meetups and Drop-In Cafes across Yorkshire are aimed at patients over the age of 18 who have been diagnosed with a primary brain tumour, their carers and loved ones. We provide an environment which is supportive and positive, creating an opportunity for patients and their families to meet other people who have shared experiences and challenges. We also provide up to date information on a range of topics through our visiting guest speakers and social events. Our Support Meetups and Drop-In Cafes take place online and in Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, York, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Hull – to find out more go to: https://www.yorksbtc.org.uk/Loving-Support/Support/Support-for-Patients We hold monthly group wellbeing walks, these are leisurely, low-level walks for around 1-1.5hrs. Each walk starts and ends at the venue’s café and we get together for a relaxing drink afterwards. The routes are suitable for beginners and are open to all family members. We vary the venue each month across West and South Yorkshire – to find out more go to: https://www.yorksbtc.org.uk/Loving-Support/Support/Wellbeing-Walks/Group-Wellbeing-Walks.
